The Eggery is conveniently located within minutes of the alpine ski areas of Hunter Mountain and Ski Windham. The Inn is adjacent to numerous state Hiking trails, scenic water falls and North & South Lake State Park. Golfing, swimming, horseback riding, and numerous recreational activities are all within minutes.

The colorful canopy of autumn's splendid foliage is perfect for the trips to nearby Woodstock, the antique center of Saugerties and weekend country auctions. In July and August, Hunter Mountain is host to the German Alps "Oktoberfest" as well as contry music, Celtic, Italian, Polka and Mountain Eagle Indian Festivals.
